it's a marvellous game, I'll have to disagree and the review of it saddens me ;) (even though it's true :D ) the best thing about it was the cover artwork..
(not that I think I have one to flog has anything to do with it  )
I played this game tons back in the day. I seem to remember being quite good at it back then, but I'm probably wrong about that because I last seconds these days
*EDIT* Having now watched the video, I can remember that I definatly made it to the snake boss once or twice, but I don't remember beating it though.
Renegade 3 (I posted a link to that a short while ago) and a few other games that were released on the Speccy, but he's not reviewd 'our' version (BMX Ninja, HKM: Human Killing Machine) and a few others. Check out his youtube channel. I find the easiest way to find it (I don't have an account, so I need to look up channels manually each time) is to search for "Pop Station" and he should be the first name up. I think I've now watched every one of his videos and he's still a funny guy

I did the RZX some years ago and it took me literally hundreds of replays just to reach the first boss. And it was not easier on the later levels.

I was addicted to this game for some reason. I think it was because it was just stupidly hard and unfair! You won't catch me playing anything this stupid these days ;-)
I just like "I kicked a bloke and he didn't like it, so he stabbed me", that could be applied to almost any situation, especially on a friday night
Yes, there were a number of budget games published by Firebird that were pants. Oriental Hero is definitely one of them. In fact, in an up and coming article for a certain magazine about a certain publisher, I list it as one of FB's ones to avoid!

I agree that the ninja on the loading screen looks kind of old, tired and bored.. :p
