I remember seeing the ZX-81 for the first time and it blew me away. I had seen pictures, but I imagined it to be the size of a large manual typewriter. When I saw how small it was, and you could do all these really cool things on it, I was absolutely astounded. It looked so futuristic too. Actually, it still looks good today.

The Speccy had a similar impression, a lot smaller than I thought.
