My original rubber membrane - warning graphic content

Till I managed to replace it around 1991 for a new one, it was constantly being "repaired" with blacklead mixed with glue, wires and most importantly hours of pray...

My parents got me the Spectrum cheap, second-hand in the summer of 1989 and it already had problems (I remember keys around M N SS refusing to work)... then after some heavy gaming sessions and still without kempston the price had to be paid... when I discovered it after years, filed under some magazines pack, I took its memorandum picture before sending it over there
