Google Videos and Nick Humphries' YSRNRY documentary

edited April 2011 in Chit chat
Just to say Google Videos will remove/delete all videos submitted since a very long time ago, about 29th April. I don't know the real reason for this, but NickH should know it, as well as other people who had uploaded any video via Google in the past.

It's because I've seen above the video a notice telling about it, at least here in Spain.

"Este v?deo se eliminar? el 29 de abril de 2011." (This video will be removed on 29th April 2011)

Why would they do that the f*ing idots. Goggle is beginning to fall from grace in my estimations of late.

It would seem the Goggle video service is being run down and decommissioned. Why don't they just integrate the videos with Youtube??

Aye, I got the email this morning too. Strange that the movies aren't portable between the two platforms, but never mind. YouTube has all the chapters on it, in high quality, and has done for a while (search for "ysrnry" or videos by "rsscheck"). That's what nudged me to look for other non-documentary videos of mine and either transfer them or upload them.

BTW, if you subscribe to the "rsscheck" channel (is that the term?) on YouTube, you'll also see other bits and bobs I occasionally put up.

2012 might yet see the end of the documentary, but Real Life Stuff seems to just build up...

I remember watching the BBC "Commercial Breaks" documentary featuring Joffa on Google video ages ago and that one will be gone too.

Well, I just googled the title (lol) and fortunately it has been uploaded to a few other minor sites ... anyway, I guess I will just download that particular one to my HD as it is quite watchable once a year or so. I noticed it is on YouTube - but with the audio disabled due to the usual legal crap . No point in watching this kind of stuff without sound!
