    Sock puppet.
I wasn't trying to quote your posts "out of context", I just thought it was a shame that a thread about a really nice Vectrex collection descended into a series of posts that had nothing to do with it.

I have no idea what "Sock puppet" means, and I guess I should be offended, but Jumping Stack's "Sooty" post made me laugh, so it's all good.

Anyway, sorry about my post aowen, and sorry to tolls for contributing to the off-topicness of this thread.

I admit i'm super jealous ! I dont collect retro systems but if there was one system i was going to collect it would be the Vectrex. LOVE those vector graphics, bought up most of the vector games on my ipod as they look so good.

For its time the Vectrex was exceptional, i remember my rich cousins had one of these back in the early 80's, still loved my Speccy but that Vectrex looked amazing and still does all these years later. Played on one everytime i've gone to a retro show.

It's ok. Sorry for the harsh comment. The issue that was intruding into this thread has been amicably resolved. And FWIW, I would love to have a Vectrex. I remember reading somewhere that someone had modified a 6502 version of Elite to drive the Vectrex display. I'd love to see someone do something similar with Starglider.

Woah there! No-one's gonna be putting me in a Vectrex! The physics of it are just impossible!

Hang on... did you mean the game?

    No problem. :)

I've edited my original post so as not to make this thread unnecessarily longer.
