Although it is likely to be inspired in part by Nintendo's Punch-Out!!, the title of the game references the film Rocky. It could be inspired by one of the sequels, but I don't know the films at all to be able to give an informed opinion on this.
The Sega Master System Rocky game is different from the other 8-bit versions - it is an official game and has a 2D view of the fight. I'd suggest removing it from the other systems tag.
