Incompatibility with "Nipik 2" in +2A models

The game, when you lose a life, resets to 48k basic :(

I was playing the Cronosoft version and it happened...tried the one in the archive, and also happens.

Dunno what this could be, but maybe it's the classic port 255 bug which occurs on Amstrad machines?

Maybe somebody can shed some light on it?
