How the *%$& does one pick up/get/take the stinking hammer???

    Pick up hammer
    Get hammer
    Take hammer

    ... does not compute.

    It is TAKE HAMMER, however...

you have to have had the message 'you see a hammer' (or whatever it is) immediately before you type TAKE HAMMER, otherwise it won't work. Which given the frustrating lack of a delete key and sluggish typing on Crusoe, can be quite irritating.

BTW I will do an RZX for Crusoe sometime in the next week. I nearly did it last week but I'm not sure I entirely understand the whole RZX- making process. On ZXSpin there's some kind of RZX studio/editor thing - can I join them together if I break off a recording?

Ok, I'm not sure if I fully understand that. Are you basically saying that as soon as the message is up, you have to immediately start typing? I.e. I can not execute other commands, I have to bump into it and immediately (or as soon as possible) type the command. (ok, this goes hand in hand with what you guys were saying on a previous page in this thread)

    Thanks! :-)

Honestly, I never understood how the RZX process works in SPIN, that RZX-editor confused the willies out of me.

I prefer SpecEmu for making RZXs but that doesn't mean that SPIN isn't great ... because it is ... great. It's just that I prefer to use SpecEmu to make RZXs

Sorry, yes it has to be the next command you type, so if you inadvertently type TKE HMBR you have to bump.the hammer again before TAKE HAMMER will work.

    I'll try specemu

Check last page or maybe the one before it. Also two versions of the map in the Archive.

Yes, finally. I hope it works ok (it did on Specemu, but not on Spin) Anyway I've submitted it to the rzx archive.

RZX now available. Unfortunately it doesn't play back in Spin. Tried it on Spectaculator and SpecEmu ok.

I thought some of the puzzles in Crusoe were a bit arbitrary, but I've just been playing ocarina of time on the N64 and it's just as bad!
