Google Earth.
Google Earth/ maps satellite view is fascinating I could spend hours on it.
There are just so many weird and unexplained mysteries within in it.
Like for example mystery factories in woodland maked up only as Woodland lodge, because all that can be seen from the road side is a cottage.

or why does this field have the regular lines and shapes in it, what was their in times past.

It's CAD Kineton. One of the MOD's massive ammunition dumps.
The scars on this lanscape suggest recent activity... what though?

You've pasted another link to the woodland factories here by the way - I'd like to see the field markings.
I agree - Google Earth is a fascinating project.
Thorne Moor. It's a peat bog.
Fixed now.
Yeah I worked it out, its where they cut peat ages ago.
Forest Lodge Farm, a factory chicken farm.

Second link is to the same place.
there's been a lot of railway lines torn up around there, including a couple going right through the middle of those fields.

More likely to be ripped out hedges.
There were definitely railways going through there, you can see the signs.

Of more interest are the concentric circles a few hundred feet northwest. I thought it could be a filled-in crater (RAF Upper Heyford being close by) but it seems too big.
Heh. Had a look on Streetview and found a Red Kite hovering over the field:

It could be a mound, and the circles are where the water collects and therefore more things grow.
Yes I like the way it comes into the water.
