mrs.t in hospital drama and I missed my breakfast

edited June 2011 in Chit chat
I spent most the day in a&e with mrs.t, bored. After whinging on about her tummy aching all yesterday, she went to the doctor - despite me insisting that there was nothing wrong with her.

She went to the doctor who told her to go to a&e. So, I had to take her on my bike, cos she wouldn't take hers, and I said she was imagining it.

They took bloods and xrayed, and admitted her for observation and put her on a drip. Might operate in the morning if bloods indicate it.

So, I just got in, and had a sandwich.

erm

keep you posted

I hope everything goes ok. Maybe she's got that 9 month thingy going on, in which case CONGRATS!

As a complete aside, you guys only have motorized bicycles and no car(s)?

If she waited all day yesterday before going to the Dr, then why was she in such a rush to get there today? She could have done you a fry-up first!

yeah, she was a passenger, her licence limited her to 13bhp then cos she was on l-plates, and it's a 150bhp bilke

she has ridden down that way on her own since though :) she still has a 125cc, but can ride up to 33bhp now

I do hope the missus is better and out of hospital soon.

A few weeks ago, I was submitted to Bedford hospital myself . Turns out I had pneumonia, and I must say it's most ill I have ever felt in my life. The staff at the hospital were superb, and had me feeling measurably better very quickly.

Once again, hoping everything works out well.

operating today, no time give yet, I'm visiting at 2pm. though if they plan to operate before then I can nip over and see her first, and stuff the speed limits.

well, she is now in the operating theater.

on the plus side I am watching MOTO GP on the red button in peace, I had a nice lunch in the hospital restaurant, and got talking to the guy whos harley with ape hangers was parked oustide, who is in a similar situation.

Man ... feel for ya. Hope everything went well, and continues to get better.

I take it they figured out what the cause/issue was ... but at the same time I also respect that there are just certain things one does not discuss in public on a forum ... anywho ... Just glad the docs worked on her.

Fingers and toes crossed here..........i've been in that situation myself, a loved one in surgery and the worst part is the waiting..........it can be soul destroying waiting for hours and no news, you go through so many thoughts and emotions.
Anyway, hope all goes well mate:smile:

I bet that's that one time you are glad you were wrong. Wow can you imagine, riding your bike to the hospital for a life saving operation. :/

Still glad things seems to now be coming together, all the best to you both I wish you nothing but the best of luck.
