Moon Patrol

The game Moon Patrol is currently available at WoS for download as both TAP and TZX. The TAP version shows a corrupted game title right after loading, the TZX version doesn't have this problem.

I just created a new TAP version directly from the TZX version that doesn't have this problem either, it's available here. It may be a good idea to replace the current TAP version with this one.

BTW the current TAP and TZX versions have almost exactly the same content, except for one extra character used in the name of the CODE block, and there are 4 different bytes in its content. The TAP file is dated from 1995 and it was stored at WoS in 1997, the TZX file is dated from 2008 and it was stored at WoS in 2009. Thus it seems both versions came from the same source, but the TZX recovery was more successful. Or perhaps someone finished the job of fixing the game as part of the recovery? Does anybody have further details about the recovery process that happened in this case? Is it correct to assume that the TZX file is a more accurate recovery version so the original TAP file can be discarded?

The TAP file has silently been replaced with your copy.

Going by the dates, 1995 sounds like I collected it from NVG; WoS did not have a public download FTP site until early 1997.
The TZX file comes from the TZX Vault; perhaps Steve recalls where he got it from?
