+2A with tape deck problem - sell as whole or spares?
I've got a +2A with a broken tape deck from when I clumsily turned the Azimuth screw too much and caused it and the spring to come out.
Other than this, the Speccy's working fine (keyboard, display, sound etc).
Would it be feasible for me to put it on eBay as a whole (but who wants a broken built-in tape deck?) or would it be best for me to strip it down and sell it as spares?
I stripped down a faulty laptop last year and later regretted it.
It's just that I'm not clued-up on the faulty Spectrum market.
P.S. I recently bought a new +2A, so have no need to repair this one.
Thanks.

If I were you, I would leave the other +2A aside as a collection exemplar and use this other one to play games, everytime you feel you want to do it the way we did in the past :)
as I am sorting out something a little special to a good friend whom should be getting back from his Afghan vaction with the RAF soon =)
