Football Manager 2011

edited July 2011 in Chit chat
I've just noticed that FM 2011 is only 16? on Steam, I've been playin 2009 since it came out (I usually buy then every 2 years, but last year budget was more than strickt).

should I give a go on 2011, should I stick with 2009, or do I wait for 2012?

who has tried them? give me your feed back!

Haven't touched it since CM 01/02, which is still regarded by many as the best.

    Certainly Mr VanTammen!

It's the nuts in my opinion and I've played every version since the original in 92.

The player interaction is much improved, the media meetings and tictacs engine is also really wel tweaked.

Worth 16 of them chuffing Euro things for sure in anyones money.

In fact I have it on right now - guiding FC Dordrecht through their first season in the Eredivisie as newly promoted champions of the Jupiler League (Eerste Division).

If you're an LLM'er like myself, get your eyes cast over a Mr Ari Nyman...a mountain of Finn for the back 4!

I'm quite tempted but I know it will engulf my life! Might cave soon though..

Last one I was playing was 2010, quite enjoyed it. Though after a while I got a bit bored of all the press and player interaction, it all became a bit incessant so I ended up leaving most stuff to my assistant manager. It seems as if with each release, they make the players bigger and bigger unhappy whinge-bags, they're never cheerful about anything even when you're winning things! :-P

I don't know about regional pricing differences but it's cheaper here (UK) than on Steam but activates on Steam all the same.

Edit: Now watch it turn up cheaper still on Steam in the summer sale later!
