+3e 8Bit / 16Bit IDE (resource help)
Hello there my fellow WoS'ers
I am going to attempt to write a Windows (C++) program with GUI that will read / write / format and mount 8BIT & 16BIT +3e DOS formatted partions / Devices
I am looking for any open source projects in this vein, infact any information would be a boon at the moment, I have some meager resources that explain in some limmited detail the +3e DOS partion format.
So any help is good help.
It is my want to develop this over the next few of weeks (as I find insomnia quite boring) then release into our community for cross platform (*Nix) development - I may even be friendly to the Java fans ;)
My primary goal is to develop a simple - easy to use GUI (based on simple mount / read / write routines) for 8bit +3e DOS handling of devices / partitions - obviously it would then be upgraded to deal with full cluster sizes for 16bit adapters..
I would also be delighted to work with others should they have an interest, and if anyone has an SVN handy I would be VERY greatfull it I could have a project manged there =)
I have a fair few years in C/C++ and unfortuantely to many in Wondoze programming, so this should be a nice quick 4-6 week project =D
Thanks for reading
