I was a tracksuited breakdancer for a while in the 80's...
I then headed from "normal" jeans and a t-shirt towards baggy skater/jungle raver clothes in the 90's. I skateboarded a lot and went to Jungle Raves.....
I still wear big baggy jeans - I had to get rid of the tops though years ago. I couldn't wear them in work - they all had some kinda link to weed - usually a massive leaf or my old favourite Dready(Google images to see him) :)

Haha I remember Dready, he started his life quite cool in the early 90's then by 1995 anyone round my way wearing Dready was instantly labelled a nob, as the clothes became surnonimous with clueless dickheads, and kids who wore them thinking they were being all cool but never actually even had a single toke on a spliff in their lives.

My pants have shrunk considerably, partially to do with the missus she thinks I look like a wigger wannabe ghetto thug when I wear big baggies. Still refuse to wear friggin' well fitting clothes though, eff' that I'll be a scruff til' I die :D

Now all I need is a pair of Adidas Tango, apparently they brought them out again a few years ago, but I've not seen a pair since about 1986?

Yeah, they've brought them out a few times, see them round my way every now and then. I was never too keen on the indoor footy style shoes though, personally.

I've had umpteen bomber (MA1) jackets over the years, and still have two: a green one and a maroon one. Also got 2 black harrington jackets, and a pair of reissued reebok hitops (orginally from 1989).

Although I'm not an actual skinhead, I do usually have very short hair and coupled with the bomber jackets, this has resulted in some apprehensive looks from old grannies at times... I'm not a thug, honest ossifer!

i bought one of these ma1 flight jackets older design before they did the orange lining think it cost me around $150 taxes & delivered, cracking jacket all the same, like you say shaved head and a jacket like this and your tagged as a hooligan
maybe its a motherwell thing, thats where i'm from too!

    Oh, what a cliffhanger!!!

Soooo ... you continued saving up money?
You went and bought candy instead?
You sent a "Why, oh, why..." letter to your local paper?
You bought a crunk clown suit instead? (but it didn't catch on until a couple of decades later, you trendsetter, you!)
You're still saving money, and it's still out of your price-range?
    You bought the last Rolo?
