spectrum48 with Betadisk and CP/M
Hi out there,
I'm just poking in my old Spectrum hardware again ;)
Most of it is homebuilt, in the late 80s in the former GDR(east germany). I made a Betadisk-interface and upgraded some RAM to run CP/M. The CP/M itself is from AdW "Akademie der Wissenschaften der DDR" and is CP/M2.2 Bios Ver 1.4.
Everything is working fine, only CP/M is crashing from timte to time.
The Betadisk-Rom is very rare, because it contains a GUI (graph. user interface) from "individual software" with TR-DOS 4.82.
Now I'm archiving my documents and find, they are incomplete.
I need help with the following:
1. can anyone provide the Betadisk schematics (my desolate copies are labeled ("Betadisk 5.03" and have been quite popular in the GDR).
2. how to read the BetaDisk-roms via software running at the specci. (how to switch the ROMs and copy it via RAM to tape or disk?)
3. I'm looking desperatly for documents and schematics to keep my specci running.
4. has anyone a similar configuration to chat about, or is somebody interested in the details?
