A few years back I started a thread entitled "neat pictures you have taken". Where is it? I can't find it?

This one? You have to use the Search facility - Chit Chat only shows xx amount of threads.

How did you use the search facility? I tried using it and could not find it. I was aware that the search facility did not index chit chat, therefore I used to search the threads that I'd started.

Just to rub salt in the wound I searched for your PS threads just now, they were the 2nd and 4th results on the page :p

To find a thread that you have started, goto your profile (click on your user name) and click on statistics. You should then see an option to find threads that you have started and another to find every post you have made. It's quite a useful feature ;-)

In this case, the doctor is forgiven. :p But if you've been around for a couple years you will probably think things like "Again?", "Did he even bother to search?", "Why can't people search instead of starting a new topic?" and similar things. :lol:

I simply searched for "neat picture" in the bog-standard search and it was first in the results.

For future reference, the best way to find threads is to tag them when creating them. Then click Search|Tag Search to find them later.
