Replay 2011 Eyeballing?
Replay 2011 seems like a great opportunity to meet fellow spec-chums but I really don't know what anyone looks like. Rather than request mug-shots of everyone, maybe we should all wear something that identifies us as WoSers.
That's as far as I've got with the concept. Maybe someone else can suggest a workable implementation.

they usually provide blank name badges.
honestly though, you should be ok
binman will either wear a kilt or leather trousers. so that will be easy to spot.
also i think winston will have his spectranet thing set up so look for that.

Well past shows i've been to you never had badges so that was a weird experience, going up to some strange bloke saying 'are you 'wibblywob' from the retro forum ?' kinda thing ! Often you might be at the bar not knowing the person next to you is who you've been chatting with for years on WOS etc.
Last year Winston had a stand so it was an easy meeting point for WOSsers but this year there'll be name badges. You'll spend a fair bit of time looking at peoples nicknames on their badges and its a very weird experience meeting someone after chatting to them online for so long. You'll meet a top bunch of people though, last years show was excellent and this years seems to be double the size. Theres a nice little chippy over the road as well for lunch as the food inside the hotel is expensive/takes a fair while.

It's not going too well, is this, heh. When I said you were almost gone, I was referring to your apparent level of intoxication! Your eyes look a bit glazed there, don't they? It's interesting that Mile is the only one holding a bottle of water and an orange juice (I think) and he looks the most alert. Maybe that's also the reason why he's just so good looking! :D
