Plastic Bags instead of Toilets in Dutch Trains
I've heard about the British Rail Systems, but the Dutch can also be very funny.
Here's their latest invention: Plastic Bags as an Emergency Procedure.
They said that Plastic Bags is a much more cost effective measure instead of toilets, because having 4 extra seats per wagon is much better for passengers. :-P

What's so difficult on buiding a small box (why not a shed??) and place the toilet with waterreservoir?

What happens when the train is passing through a station at high speed, as kids will probably throw bags of **** out the window at passengers on the platform.

and phoneboxes
I remember going on a dutch train in 95.. they had the 2 levels IRC ?
the one from schipol to amsterdam central has two levels.
Oh, wait, that was Belgium.
They are taking toilets off some British trains to make more money... I mean more room for passengers. (On a couple of commuter routes where the journey is less than an hour, but it's not good news for people with an illness/problem)
good beer and cheap smokes , what more do ya want ? hehe
never been there, as only c64 scene person I know from there , a load more like me dislike.

My mate went travelling to china a couple of years ago and on his first day noticed there was these small piles of sand all over the paths. He was waiting for a bus and saw a middle aged woman squat and then poo on the street, she then grabbed a handfull of sand out a of a small grit bin and sprinkled it over the poo.
Oddly enough Paul Merton never mentioned this everyday occurrence in his Paul Merton Visits China documentary.
This article says it all:

That made me think, they've had pissbags in japan for years, they look like a giant rectangular condom, and when you pee into them there's some chemical in there that reacts with the piss and turns it into a gel, then I guess you just throw it away when you get off the train.......or drop it on the floor if you're a mucky bugger :D
..that line is just begging for a witty retort about the kind of quality writing we get on these forums, ain't it... lol... ;)
I thought you Scotsmen wore nothing under your kilts:-?
The contract went to Bug Byte to install moving toilets with self-lifting lids, however legal action from Software Projects prevented the project from going ahead on schedule...
I've never wore a kilt and i probably never will cos i don't like 'em!
The Dutch Railways also has trains running in Poland, Germany and the UK.
This idea could very well be running in a train near you
