Hit the yellow button (or green) to get rid of it until the next time they publish it.

I live in the Tyne Tees region and the quality of my analogue signal is so good here that it makes the digital channels looks like the low bandwidth MPEG crap that they are. Selling the digital TV switchover on number of channels is one thing, but there is no contest between a clear analogue SD broadcast and even a low-bandwith highly-compressed alternative.

Digital Cable of course is much better, but that is another discussion.

Do you have to go through the re-tune your freeview every few weeks thing? My parents had to retune theirs about three times in the space of a couple of months during the switchover.

    I just stick to Sky.

well they keep messing around with channels e.g. pick+1 being the latest one.

they won't mess around with the major ones like BBC / ITV though.

know what you mean about the crudy JPEG type compression on pics some of the time.. we had neighbours who just had 2 big tree's cut down, yesterday/today and now no glitching.

I don't thin Tyne-Tees have swithced over yet, so it may improve.

I actually prefer the analogue signal. At least it doesn't crash or pixellate when you move the aerial or the weather's bad.
