eBay advice

edited October 2011 in Chit chat
Per another thread I started, I had a bidder do a BIN on a boxed speccy I was selling.

great, you say.

however he has zero feedback and is in Kuala Lumpur. shipping would cost 60 quid.

am I out of order for not wanting to risk it?

You could use an escrow service and add the cost onto his postage.

if you state UK only on your advert.. you can get out of it that way.. by speaking to ebay.

OR because you didn't imply you would ship abroad , you might get out of it that way maybe.

I always block foreign bidders, as some countries have rubbish post (or zero feedback bidders)... and then exempt a few (a few from here also who live abroad) . if you are forced to ship it abroad, just make sure it's covered insurance wise.. and well if it doesn't arrive your covered.
