My brother has just finished putting together this years Hallowscream, a fan comic created by visitors to old Fleetway horror comic Scream!'s fansite Back From The Depths and other contributors...

Here's a bit of blurb about it...

" 112 pages of peril and paranormality for your perusal behind a fangtastic cover pic by Andrew Milne! This year's issue features a slew of ghosts, ghoulies and gory things, including a sequel to the controversial Speed Date by Dirk Van Dom, (now a short film), a Vampire Vixens of The Wehrmacht pin-up by 2000ad artist Alex Ronald, (a Vampire Vixens collection should be available next year), and a story by Huw Evans which explains precisely what it is about this scary stuff that appeals to some of us.

You can download it by following the links from my brothers blog...or in a little while, from Back From The Depths site...

For those who prefer to have an actual comic to read on the train/bus/loo/etc.....you can now buy all the Hallowscream issues in book format!

They're not in colour (apart from the covers!) like the PDF files, because that would cost too much, but they still have all the same grisly tales there in black & white!

Thank you again. You know how much I love the original Scream! If I'm good, I may just treat myself to a *real* copy. Congrats again. I love this homage.

Have you seen the large-format book of The Thirteenth Floor? That'd be a real treat, but it's a trifle expensive!
