Heinz mushroom soup

edited November 2011 in Chit chat
is it almost impossible to find to buy these days or is it just me?

all the shops and supermarkets round here sell all heinz apart from mushroom, i found ONE can in one of those discount type stores in middlesbrough a while back, it was hidden in with another heinz variety, there wasnt even a mushroom section on the shelf lol

seems theyre making it extinct by the backdoor or thats what it seems like to me Oo

    Count yerself lucky mister!

You can't get any Heinz soups here in the US, unless you go looking for it really hard, and it costs a bloody arm and a leg, and you can only get tomato and chicken which are both sh*t! I'd love some a can of Heinz tatey n' leek soup, that stuff is yumster yumster.

Now Campbells soup that stuff is everywhere, but no Campbells Meatballs...must grumble!

Don't know if you can get Heinz soups in Canada either.. We have Ketchup & HP Sauce so maybe.. Haven't really looked though. Campbell's is definitely more prevalent up here anyway.. Had some Campbell's Cream of Mushroom yesterday.. It was warming and nutritious. (Yes, I know that was Oxtail.)

Fact: They grow them in horse poo. That's another reason not to eat them:-

Top 3 soups for me have to be:

    - Minestrone
    - Tomato
    - Chicken

Minestrone cup-a-soup takes some careful cooking; you have to make sure the croutons absorb enough water but if you leave them too long before eating them they go all soggy. I'd like to see them try that on Masterchef.

I can kind of understand that because the opposite happens to me with parsnips. I physically gag if I have to eat a cooked parsnip, but parsnip soup is lovely! dunno how that works

Sainsburys have lots of cans of mushroom soup in the NI branches

Though the bastards have changed the Oxtail soup so it has no taste or tang, but tastes very very sweet
