Just received some older little beloved machines, taken under investigation by my newer little beloved ones:

Funny how large the Speccy looks in the 3rd picture. People who aren't familiar with the small size of the rubberkeys model probably would think your kids are much larger than they really are

My son is 5, and he was playing with that tape like it was a Nintendo DS :)
Never seen it, and he has no clue what it's for! ;)

I should have taken a picture with all my spare ZX Spectrums, like 15 or so.
Then the kids would look rather small :)

Yeah, especially the Interface 1; I would have spanked him if he would have let it fall  :D

Them picture are brilliant. Made me smile. I like the lad with the tape "whassit whassit whassit?".

    Now I want 5 spectrum 48s!

Yes they're great and you are bringing them up well. You should switch to video and upload to YouTube. And if you could just get one to bite the other's finger...

I gave a tape to my daughter this morning (as her brother has one, so she doesn't accept to 'stay behind').
It's so funny: she never hold one before, and she treats it like a necklace ;)

I know Clopit! takes a long time to load on real tape but that's still an extreme reaction...
