Galvan or Galivan?
Did Imagine actually spell the title to Galvan/Galivan wrong on the spine of the game?

They all arrived in good nick.
What we did is to only add instructions scans for the titles we didn't have instructions for yet, or where the existing ones are incomplete or made up.
The instructions for Green Beret were available already.

From the arcade game:
It's Galivan to everyone except Imagine. Everywhere I've looked anyway.

Plus, in Japanese, you'd have to say Ga-ri-ban, due to how each consonant is defined with a vowel, except for n.
I always just called it "that rubbish conversion with the cool Bob Wakelin artwork". It's a lot like Quartet, the advert promising a lot more than the 8-bit graphics can portray...

That's how I interpret it too.

Martijn, both inlays, English and Spanish say Galvan on the spines. Shouldn't the game name be changed and Galivan made an alias? Or do we do some exception here?
Once you got used to the odd proportions of the playing area it was pretty good fun. At least for me!
As the aforementioned Quartet, not the best coin-op conversion for the Spectrum, but far from the worst (Pit Fighter, Soldier Of Light or Track And Field, anyone?).

Can we have a vote to call it 'Gavin' in the archive?
While this is absolutely correct, I want to make an exception to the rule in this case.
The incorrect spelling is also maintained, as an alias, and the situation is described in a remark.
(There are other exceptions such as most Zenobi games, which have just 3 or 4 letters on the spine).
