Ultimate Adventure Magazine - by old Speccy Games Writer

edited January 2012 in Chit chat
Hello!! Yes, a little off-Spectrum topic but bear with me.....
Below is the blurb for my new adventure magazine, which is a FREE download at www.uamag.co.uk

Yes, I used to write Speccy games (and even wrote one in 2010 called BIOHELL to promote one of my books), but more importantly, in Issue 2 I'm hoping to run a short story written by my old friend Joffa Smith (RIP). I'm also looking at doing a big Speccy retro-feature in the very near future :-) So please check it out!!

Cheers
Andy Remic.

    Me too..!

Hmmm, it's probably a bit sad when you picture yourself tapping commands into a computer after hearing the words "Ultimate Adventure"...

Ha! Urban Climbing..... no, but I went up the Boston Stump (google it) and that probably nearly qualifies. The steps are so awkward its almost like climibing!!

Morkin - you have indeed given me an idea for a feature, entitled "The Ultimate Spectrum Adventure" whereby we look at which one was the best.... although Level 9 were good, I think "Heavy on the Magick" by Carter/Follis was my all time favourite :-)
(and I'm serious about the article; there's out many people out there who still love their Speccys!!). :-)

Psssst! Maybe you can tell us a bit about the movie Joffa was going to help out a bit with (was it make-up or animatronics?) ... I remember him being so very invigorated by the prospect, he was bubbling over with excitement in anticipation (and I'm not kidding here, or make it sound more than it was, he was genuinely looking forward to it).

Jof showed me some clips for a film he was working on called "Finding Natasha" that was very low budget, violent and fab. :-)
He was also going to help out in my work in progress called Gehenna; he was going to work on the SFX side (funnily enough!!). But we also chewed over story ideas for short films......
A great shame he's gone. RIP mate.
