USB joypads

edited February 2004 in Games
ive just bought a SAITEK P2500 RUMBLE FORCE PAD for pc and its great for speccy emus because you can set each button including the d-pad to a key on your key board using the software provided with the pad. even use it as your mouse or combine the 2. this is my recomendation for us hardcore speccaholics.

I use a Playstation controller through a USB adapter and that is pretty good. There are loads of buttons on a Playstation controller and you can map them all within most emulators.

I'm using a Logic3 USB Intruder (plug and play). It doesn't have any analogue sticks, but it does the job on Speccy games. It cost ?4.49 from Computer World.

Well, you plug it into your PC, plug your PS controller into the adapter and you are away (you may have to install drivers or latest version of direct X also). These adapters are pretty cheap (?6 at http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-6m-70-gt-4-14.html ) and the PS controllers are good quality.

I have a psx-usb converter, a psx/n64-usb converter and now an xbox-usb pad converter which is the one I'm currently using, although as silly as it is, I usually cant be bothered and just play using the keyboard as nature intended. :)

You're all corporate bitches if you buy a console - face it. Unless it's a Phantom - in that case you're just stupid - because even if it did exist it'd be crap
