1) that is some messed up traffic calming system you have on that road with the river to the right approx 3min....might be the camera/viewing on utube meaning it's harder to see stuff but I could see people happily ploughing straight into that as it's not obvious and don't think I've ever seen something like it myself
2) again could be the camera/utube thing....but how the f are you supposed to see at night :lol:
I love the design of the houses where you live, so uniquely British.
you remind me of a friend of a friend, who turned up with a mutual friend where I live.. it's an old house and has old fashioned door frames , like with a crest etc. almost.. I should take a pic to show you what i mean.. he was in awe of them, me .. well I took / take em for granted as they are part of the house, the sort of thing they rip / gut out of older properties when folk don't know what they are doing.
Interesting, but while watching the video, with this 'first person view' I have the feeling that it's me who's driving the bike and I'm instinctively telling myself 'change lanes, change lanes'...
That was a bit mean berating the chap crossing the road :) He didn't know the lights were about to change or have a motorcycle going flat out towards him. I suppose we all talk to ourselves when driving, I know I do, and sometimes when someone nearly wipes me off the road I even say the C word and my kids tell me off.
I have to say that you're a very good driver, in my opinion, I was watching where you would you look l/r and you did very well with that, I mean the empty spaces between cars or unsuspecting "vacuums".
Only thing I got a bit miffed at you is toward the end (nighttime) where you squeeze in (read: force yourself!) behind the first car in line :-x ( :-P )
Oh, and also ... can you affix the camera to the top of your helmet instead of the side? It's a bit headachey not getting the full left-motion vs the exaggerated right motion. ( Or maybe it would point too much straight down then? )

Last night I rode down to Portsmouth area, it was cold, but not frosty. Before I left my helmet mount snapped, (cheapish bit of plastic) on one of the points, I need a new one.
What I did film at night, from the suction mount was mostly useless, so much muck spraying off the motorway it obscured the camera.
Today I rigged up an external mic, but that detached, and turned the camera off. So, all I managed to salvage of the 2 days, was this;
It's a bit shaky as the fairing itself that it was mounted to vibrates, and probably best watched with the sound down.

It's all said to myself of course, they can't hear me. :)

Anyway, it's a different point of view to usual
