SpecBAS 0.722 Now available!

edited January 2012 in Sinclair Miscellaneous
Hi all - SpecBAS has been updated again!

This version adds the most glaring omission yet - the INPUT command! This, as is usually the case with SpecBAS, improves on the original with proper on-screen placement with the AT or MOVE parameters, cursor colour changing with CURSOR fg,bg, default error values for numeric inputs and also simple masks with the FORMAT command - see the manual for details. Also, INPUT will not destroy the screen beneath it, and removes all traces of itself when done.

There were a couple of bugs in this one that also got fixed.
Added:

Simple optimisation. You won't notice it (probably), but it's the beginning of a much more aggressive optimisation system.
Added INPUT, with full-screen placement, formatting (masks) etc, fully compatible with the original Sinclair BASIC version.

Bugs Fixed:

READ couldn't take STRUCTure members as parameters - can now.
READ wouldn't accept array parameters correctly.
RESTORE could be confused by labels when searching for more DATA, but now correctly ignores them.
PROC and CALL will refuse to accept REFerenced STRUCTure members, as they're not true variables. For now.
OVER status now reset properly on NEW.
The editor history (SHIFT/up+down) now no longer stores duplicate command lines.

Go get it at the usual place -

Enjoy!
