Kikstart 2 and joysticks.

Can anyone here tell me what joystick interface this game is supposed to be able to use? It seems to ignore Sinclair, Kempston and cursor keys. The cassette inlay doesn't say anything on the matter, just that up to two joysticks can be used, though this suggests to me it should use the Sinclair standard.

I'm assuming this is under emultion. If you are having issues, why not run JoytoKey on

and map your Joypad to specic keys.

It was on a real Spectrum. It seems an odd place to hide away the joystick option, but it does work. Thanks for the information.

I have played the C64 version and it possibly is better, but it's not bad at all on the Spectrum, though it would be nice to at least have a few beeps!
