When you just wonder around, it's easy but when you want to take some note, you must be very guick and have a very precise timing when getting through the narrow passages. Would be better with about 20 lives ;)
The notes have lots of "camouflage".
Have you noticed that you can turn the floor pattern off in the main menu? :)
It makes the game more void but as an advantage you can see that notes clearly now and the colour clash is vastly reduced.
Looks beautiful and very professional.
But - in several words - what exactly should I do there? Collect something? How to kill enemies? And so on.
From the game instructions :):
The only way you can think about to stop the evil forces, is putting the scroll to fire. But the musical notes went out flying and something tells you that it will be worthless if you burn the scroll without those notes, so you're prepared to collect all music notes and put them back into the scroll. And then you'll take it back to the same forge where the professor invoked the beings for the beyond.
Which, translated into plain English, means:
1. Collect all the notes, then you'll go to another section.
2. Then go find the forge, and destroy the scroll.
There is no way to kill enemies, you have to avoid them.
Cute maze collect-em-up, although I miss diagonal movement.
Is it an intended feature that you can "touch" the nasties without dying as long as you approach them from the side?
I had that happen also, the baddie was moving up/down, I was actually "pushed" a few pixels back, i.e. I had not completely entered into the "attribute area" of the baddie, maybe about 3-4 pixels in or so. Didn't test it out thoroughly, just had it happen a few times accidentally.
I dont know if this is what could solve your doubt, Pavero, but there are some passages in some of the trees, if I dont recall badly...Anyways I will ask in retrogames to be sure 100% :)

First impressions: Looks great! Lots of colours! The notes have lots of "camouflage".
Haven't heard of the original so I think I want to play that first.
Oh, and happy birthday!

I think you just caught the only maintenance window of our web provider for quite some time :).
Bad release timing?

It is intended, yes. It also happened in JINJ 1.
Enjoy the game!
READ: "Has not been fixed since the first game"
Surely it makes negotiating some particularly tricky passages easier.
Nope, it ain't a bug, indeed you need such feature to get past some perils.
Will at some point transfer to cassette.
Nice work!
I know, I meant it as a joke
Anywho, I noticed there is a location where you can walk into a section of the map in the room underneath:
Thanks for your report. The bug has been fixed, so you may download the game again.
To another pass is closed ???

blue door in the tree teleport to red
A good reason to keep exploring there! ;)
The notes are usually totally unapproachable.
So I would need some clue ;-).
Maybe are there some secret passages through the walls?

I think you'd better ask in Retroworks.
