I bought a rubber mallet as I was attempting to remove the engine from a 20 year old Honda CG125 cc.
According the Haynes manual, one simply takes the chain off the small sprocket, removes three bolts and the engine comes out.
What actually happens is after an hour or so the bolts all come out, then after soaking the whole engine and frame with one full can of WD-40 and leaving it overnight and bashing it repeatedly with a rubber mallet for about an hour the next morning, the engine slowly budges a few inches.
