Z88 is 25 today!

I love the beauty of this "MacBook that never was"!

I remember well the many reports I have written on it during my military services back in 1990.

My birthday present is a video (follow link) for you guys to enjoy!

Enjoy the upcoming weekend!

I still haven't figured out how to install apps and games on the cartridges for this machine.
I downloaded Lemmings for Z88, but I cannot find any info about installing.

Anyone in here who can help ?

Nice video. Don't know a thing about the Z88. I guess I could never see the appeal of the lcd screen.

The LCD display makes it very easy on the eyes plus it's very crisp. Battery life is still awesome too, over 20 hours off some AA batteries. I still use mine to type up the odd document and transfer it over to the QL.

The Psion 3 Series was very similar - my own 3mx lasted for weeks on a pair AA batteries. Although the screen was not colour it was very clear (backlight as well) and easy to use. The Psion software on the 3 Series was awesome - only just got rid of mine a couple of months ago.

Installing new applications is not easy - and it can take a while to do.

Basically, you need to have a PC Link Kit to transfer files between your computer and the Z88, and have ROMCombiner installed on the Z88 - ROMCombiner is a public domain program and will take the application and install them....
