Thought it would be easier to show off my current collection by taking some pics and if anyones got somthing i havent got then Im sure i'd be interested. If you click on the thumbnails they should be big enough to see .

only interested in single cassette games ( not clamshell or double boxes) and not interested in budget releases.

or..

If theres anything that interests you might do swapsies - we'll have to see.

anyway if anyone can spot any missing games to help me complete any sets then let me know.....!

thanks!!

To be honest firebird stuff is a lower priority than some others.
Looking to get more dk tronics , quicksilva , melbourne house ,ocean , etc.

Very interested in more hewson consultants , automata & bugbyte stuff if you can see any missing that you have.

by the way , is there anything rare (ish) there?
not that im thinking of selling any - but just nice to know.

Nice collection. I don't remember noticing such classics as Scrabble, Make a Chip, Survival or Chequered Flag though. Although they are pretty bad and certainly not rare, they surely belong in any Spectrum collection.

Some titles you may want to consider:

Alien 8, Knight Lore, Tetris, Spidizzy, Gyroscope. I could probably suggest loads of others as I just got a massive consignment, all of which is pretty good, but I've not played with them enough to know all the names.

I like some of the new releases as well. I have W*H*B* and Stranded 2.5, both are available from Cronosoft and maybe also online as downloads. Personally I like to have the tapes, the idea of a brand new Spectrum game on a tape in 2012 is pretty amazing in my opinion.

    Hi darrend2k,

On the second picture middle row, there appears to be a MIA title !, called Gold Digger, perhaps by Anik Microsystems:

Can you check whether it's the same MIA title ?

We could also do with a scan for "The Night Sky, by Bridge Software":

Unfortunately, I think it's this one (due to the similarity with the Barmy Burgers, another Blaby game):

But (if I'm right) we do also need the scan for it.

I've just listed a few that you are missing on ebay.

    Hard Cheese (Dk'Tronics)
    Stop The Express (Sinclair Research)
    I'm sure there's more

Or maybe that is you bidding :)

I have blabby gold diggger also errm but it wouldn't surprise me if that Anik game was the exact same game due to the geography of blabby and anik.. with the anik one being the original version

me and simon went halfs on a big joblot today - some really nce stuff so thnking an updated pic might be in order.

A very quick scan of your photos shows a lack of (which I have in stock):

    Laserwarp (Mikrogen)
    Naanas (Mikrogen)
    The Castle (Bug-Byte)

I also have Dragon World by Britannia, but there's no inlay (don't know if there's supposed to be one).

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find other stuff you don't have, if you're interested...?

Edit: I've uploaded my database of all my single full-price cassettes here:
    http://www.mutant-caterpillar.co.uk/ian_stuff/FullPriceSingleCassettes.html
Feel free to check it out and see if there's more you need. There may be one or two slipped through the net, but they're almost all single cassette, full-price releases.
  • edited March 2012
i managed to get a lazerwarp(mikrogen) but would be interested in Naanas (Mikrogen)

what do you want for it?
  • edited March 2012
can I buy Dragon World of you, Spirantho, please it's MIA.
    cheers.
  • edited March 2012
I'd want ?10 for Naanas (I know that one works, as I tested it - just not got round to putting it on the shop yet). As for Dragon World, I need ?20 for that - it'd be more but it's only the cassette, no inlay. I posted about it in the MIA section of the forum but nobody seemed interested...? Dragon World works too, tested that already. :)

On the other hand, if you have worthy trades, I'm all ears!
  • edited March 2012
can't afford ?20 at the mo, but what do you consider a 'worthy swap', what sort of things are you after that's an equivalent?
  • edited March 2012
On something like this, it just needs to be something saleable, not something rare.
Do you have any of the big box Ultimate games spare? One or two of them would probably do it. That sort of thing. What do you have?
Happy to do part exchange too of course.

I'm about to receive in the post, spares of Underwurlde, Sabre Wulf, Nodes of Yesod, Gift from the Gods - which according to the auction pic, look in great condition:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320860951454?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_898

would that be a fair swap?
