Free space? What, you mean free space on your cassettes so you can record more games on them??? :-o :razz: :lol:
If you're thinking about getting rid of your cassettes, you might want to consider selling them either here or eBay (or elsewhere).
Aside from that, have you checked out the World of Spectrum Archive? I mean maybe your games are already there so there is no need for you to do that extra step. Or rather it might actually make it a simpler process, seeing as part of it's already been done, i.e. the games are already recorded from tape to computer (+tested). Then all you would have to do is dump them to disks, if you so please.
