?20 ain't much for a tape recorder, how much did you want to pay?

Or were you just hoping someone would just give one to you (and pay the postage)?

Them Sony tape-decks are rubbish for Speccy. So many people have recommended them that I bought 3 for my machines. None of them work. Hissy, wowey, tape-chewing monsters!

Hmm, okay, I'm being a bit harsh... I bought them second hand from a carboot (although they looked new. Could be that the belt has perished. However I still don't advise sliding volume controls for computer systems. A wheel is much more reliable.)

Ingersol tape-decks and Ferguson datacorders work a treat for me. I've had a couple of these for 16-18 years now and they're still loading things well.

I've had my Kisho 2510C for almost 30 years and it still loads tapes every time.

why you think they were at the car boot ;) . from new , fine, no issue. argos did them , dunno if they still do.

try freecycle in your local area and gumtree also.

    :)

when we bought tape decks first time around , they were what. ?15-30 ?
so put that in todays money *4 .. not too bad.

Sadly I dont drive and there is never any car boot sales around here and as for gumtree forget about it as its dead in my area
