Super Seymour Saves the planet year of release?

The reviews for this game are from 1992 (February and March), and the previews from December 1991 and January 1992, so maybe the game was released actually in 1992?

Hmmmm... a tricky one. Magazines are usually "dated following month" in the UK so that a mag with February on the cover would have come out in January.

For instance, the Feb '92 issue of YS came out on 2nd Jan 1992 (according to the page the Seymour preview is on, and I seem to remember YS being pretty reliable when it came out). Articles would have to be written a few weeks before the issue came out as well.

Magazines often had preview copies rather than the finished thing (leading to the occasional screenshot or two that were never in the finished thing!) so that confuses the issue even more. However, if Crash were reviewing it in their Feb issue then it may well have come out in 1991. I guess we'd need to have someone who bought it when it came out confirm when they got it or a reliable list of release dates from the time to prove it either way. :)

I remember that in Spain, that was not the case :)
When the magazines were reviewing one game, lets say, in march, the magazine was available the 1st of march and the game reviewed was in the stores about the same date more or less. Games used to appear in the same week/days as the MH reviews.

Also notice that the game "Big Nose?s american adventures" by Codemasters too, appears in the same issue 121, in the same page as Seymour saves the planet, in the issue from march, and this game is labeled as released in 1992.
It also has reviews in Crash and Your Sinclair in February, and its marked as from 1992 :)
