Ah, I see. 'cos it was fog that was telling people to put in the effort of going earlier or somewhere else. The council-partnership ones inevitably have the most pointlessly uninformative websites.
But I can name a load of pools that have either been built since I was a young'un with no diving facilities (the ones that are 2m deep or less - Kettering, Fareham, Fleet), or have them but close them off to the public (Brighton - I think, Southampton particularly), or have had them removed (Farnborough - the underwater viewing window was blocked off too) or closed down and replaced with a different, shallower pool (Wellingborough). I don't know of a single one that I've ever visited that still lets you use diving boards. If you still have access to one, I reckon you're in a minority.
