It is worth noting that we have already found 4 (!) different versions of this program. There exist significant differences beween the 4 versions, showing a progressive degree of development. This new TZX image contains the most modern version of them all. The TAP image that you can find in WoS would be the third one in the series. That said, the new TZX image is the only one that comes from an original release (i.e., not an unidentifiable "backup" copy), so we still don't know if the other three versions (including the TAP image on WoS) were comercially released. Yet for some reasons I think it's quite likely that (at least) some of them were.

In contrast to the other three previous versions, this new version features in-game speech effects and compiled BASIC code, which certainly makes a big difference regarding playability. These are exactly the improvements attributed to Fromesoft at the initial screen. AFAIK, the other three previous versions were only authored by Scanner Software (X. Verdu, A. Buttikofer).

It's also worth mentioning that the first two versions do not show any reference to Software Center, only to Scanner Software. Thus, it is possible that the title was originally released by Scanner Software, independently from Software Center. This is uncertain, though. In this regard, Fromesoft seems to be a label or programmer from Software Center.
