Was quite surprised how quick they all were to denounce their fan bases as 'thick' for buying them stuff. Surely those guys will have been watching?

None of them were all that anyway. Nightclub girl was a right little trog

I cannot believe these girls don't believe their reputations will be harmed by appearing on this program. :(

Also - it looks like girls that appear in Nuts magazine don't earn megabucks. I mean, that girl who chatted with her sister to the sad dude in the car park, her big wish was to receive a one year old 4x4. Holy ****. Talk about setting your sights low...

And that bit with the blond girl getting threatened in New York (Something along the lines of "You'll see me get nasty when you piss me off."). That was just nasty.

living in london there are plenty of snotty nosed gold diggers you'll see about.. in certain areas (chelsea , kensington etc) so not really a surprise to me. they aren't so different from the wannabe wags who hang around with footballers... or the ones dropping out of expensive night clubs in town (they aren't paying to get in etc)

same with manc I guess etc. where the women "sniff around" footballers.

most of them wouldn't look at you twice unless you drive the right sorta car etc.. so they don't harass me too much

amazing what a certain type of car key does, a friend uses that trick and sappy / shallow women have been known to fall for it.

I only stumbled across this and really couldn't watch more than a few minutes. But yes, that's exactly what I thought. I mean, what they were doing was awful but the way they bad-mouthed the guys on camera who they were fleecing was shocking. Did any part of it actually show any of these guys?

You got to see them chatting on webcam to a couple. One girls mother watched her spend 3 minutes telling some guy that he was a loser with no money ( which is what he wanted her to say ), and the mother started crying cause she was so proud of her, like it was the oscars or summat

Quite frankly these girls are skum. If a guy lied and cheated to girls to get expensive gifts out of them (even without wanting sex) he'd be considered a c*nt. I consider them to be worse than whores, at least whores are more honest about their intentions. Essentially this is theft though deception. Its only going to make men suspicious of good looking, confident woman, and thus negatively impact those rare creatures that are blessed with good looks and honest intentions.

These girls need to have gold digger tattooed onto their foreheads, it would save men wasted money and more importantly wasted emotion.

I could just imagine Heather Mills being proud of these women.

Also, if they think that money = success then they deserve all they get when they shack up with a loaded bastard.

I was talking to my niece recently about her schoolwork and she said, "Oh, it's ok I'm going to marry a footballer when I'm older". Now, I think she was joking...

to be fair to the girls, it never really came across that they were lying to the guys, they weren't saying buy me this and i will sleep with you, they basically chatted to a guy and made freinds, and then said, you can buy me this if you like, and they did.

the guys came off the worst in my opinion, they were the guys thinking that they can buy their way into girls hearts or at least their knickers.

in some ways they are more honest than these proper gold diggers as they are upfront about it. its not like them to marry a footballer and say they are in love when all they are after is the fame and presents.

dunno really, but if a load of middle aged women wanted to start buying me trips to new yourk and stuff, i'd prolly say yes. :p

Personally I think it was about as 'Real' as 'Operation Repo'

the posh girl's website/business was real though wasn't it? ( not going to search and check I'll probably get sucked in and end up sending her a box of milk tray and a fondu set or something)

Both the program and the statements the girls were making were so outrageous that halfway through I actually began to wonder if I wasn't watching a fake documentary, like that classic episode of Brass Eye where the fake documentary makers fooled Phil Collins and other celebs into joining an anti drug campaign against the new street drug "Cake".

The programme-makers would probably have tried to encourage more "bankable" statements out of the girls and heavily edited it in order to make the programme interesting. What you saw was probably all "real" but heavily manipulated to make the girls seem as shocking as possible.

None what this programme apparently revealed (I didn't see it) is surprising. Going back to when society was far more patriarchal, ambitious women would manipulate powerful men (usually using sex or playing to men's insecurities) in order to empower themselves. Now there are a sub sect of women who use the same to get money out of men. Some men do this kind of thing too, of course, albeit usually by using gifts or promises of fidelity ("I'll treat you so fine, like a princess, blah blah") in order to get sex out of women they plan to abandon.
