    We watched the Harry Potter box set recently, nice to see him in there... Goblet of Fire I think it was...

    Loved his (mostly unsung) writing work on The Goon Show. A real comedy legend.

    RIP to one of the last of the "old school" comedians (who didn't have to swear or disgust you to make you laugh). Your kind are sadly missed.

    He's got a great body of work and especially liked his stuff with Hancock.

    A real shame, i remember seeing 'The Plank' years ago and thinking it was really funny.

    Oh yeah! I'd forgotten about that, him and Tommy Cooper were brilliant in that. Thanks for the reminder, I've just started downloading it from the Pirat- er, a certain site. :)

    RIP Eric. A sad loss and one true comic genius. Reminds me, I must get around to watching Rhubarb again (not the cartoon!). I must have been around 12 the last time I saw that!
