    Bull...

That shelf maybe houses half of the megadrive releases

That is total nutsack, that dude is an optimist who recently acquired a cheap heat shrinker, and a joblot of cheap carts that he was lucky to get the boxes with.

Either that or he's a naive collector with a sh*t load of cash who married a golddigging c*nt, and now has to sell his awesome collection because she allomonied him into divorce hell.

I just bought a packet of Fisherman's Friends (Rolos are not for sale in Italy, and I don't like that kind of candies anyway), so I just fell short of ? 1.20. Pity.

This guy is smart. He spent his life building this awesome collection, maybe without spending a penny, and now he can retire with style and do whatever he wants (go around the world, etc.).

Why didn't any of us think of this?

Didn't see any Make a Chip or Scrabble. Fog will not be impressed.

The ebay closing fees are going to be a bummer...(especially if he closed it with a spoof account)...

depends if it was sold as a business account , as fee's or a lot less ? I doubt it was sold OR it was done privately.. notice how the contact details were on there.. I'd just ring up direct / cut the middle man (and fee's) out.

all that'd happen is they get a strike.. so no "biggy"

I really doubt it sold , for that money anyway

Well the closing fees would be 50-60k (5-6%)or so wouldn't they?...I think that would warrant a bit more than a slap on the wrist...ie a charge of fraud..I'm guessing it's an idiot who bid on his himself with a second account and forgot about the fees..hehe.

I don't think he sold it .. and it was solely a PR stunt for their NES etc shop and it got a LOT of exposure on a lot of forums..

unless it was a "pucka" sale, if I was ebay I'd be charging them for advertising ;-)

if you were buying it , given that the sellers details + phone number were on the page

    a) pay ebay fee's and buy via them

    b) buy directly and offer a far cheaper price
