I have no idea what's going on either. Reading between the lines gives me the expression that someone here that have mentioned something in almost every post he ever made turned out to be wishful thinking. Hope i'm wrong tough, please correct me some better-knowing if that's the case.

Indeed! I have been enlightened by some members of WoSF that this man isn't what he claims to be (no, not like Batman). There are some damning bits of evidences that point to this, but I really can't fathom what sort of nutcase would go to such lengths to draw attention to themselves. And to what end?

    Shame, sir. For shame!

    Shame, sir. For shame!

Some one who is not well and as a consequence of not being well invents a life. It's odd though, normally when people do this they, big themselves up. However, our Zero to often is 'littling-down' his life and escalating the continual tragedies he tells us his life presents him. So Cowley's Munchausen suggestion is apt.

There is no shame in being unwell, I wont judge him harshly for it (for it could be outside of his current self control), but I will build a renewed respect for him if he decides to comes clean. However, it will be hard knowing the truth from the embellished or fabricated.

Get well soon Zero, and please seek help. The truth will set you free.

    Agreed.

What a bizarre thread...! But it's made me realise I need to come clean and confess I'm not really a mouse!

I am in fact a hamster. Which makes playing some Speccy games a real challenge. Especially that one from Codemasters about a Rock Star...
  • edited July 2012
Ok, in light of recent posts in this thread, I may as well come clean too...

When I first joined these forums I stated that Mugsy (the original) was better on the Speccy than on the C64. I lied. I haven't played it on the C64. It doesn't even exist on the C64. I'm an awful, awful person. :(

    ;-)

Oi! That's Mr Cowley to you :) ...as I said to Prince Charles and Beyonc? Knowles just the other day over lunch.

I once claimed on here that I can juggle. That wasn't a lie, I can, but only three balls, not four. :-) I can juggle two with one hand though.

I'm also not a vampire. I like my steaks well done.

    EDIT: Hah! Vampire. Steaks.

    I'll be here all weekend...

Whilst you lot are dumping on Zero for not living up to a standard which few of you meet yourselves, please try and remember how much he has supported the scene.

This is one of the most bizzarre thread I have ever read.

    - First we hear Zeropolis is getting divorced

    - Then somebody claims that his wife is a pornstar

    - now what do you people suggest, that his wife doesn't exist ???

People are giving some links which immediately disappear...

Is this some conspiracy or what? ;)

Please elaborate. I don't particularly care for generalizations that paint everyone with the same tar brush.

Has zilch to do with the issue at hand.

Indeed. If only I were so omnipotent as to know how everyone leads their private lives as opposed to someone who "apparently" publishes their's to the 'net for the whole world to see.

Quite right. Screwing with peoples emotions based on complete and utter fabrications. Maybe Nick's alright with that but I most certainly am not.

I agree with this. The last thing I want is zero to feel that he cannot continue to post here. Whilst 'coming clean' may not be a possibility, perhaps not mentioning 'the family' is the way forward.

Yeah, and I'm the crown prince of Bahrain. :p

In all seriousness, I've nothing but respect for Zero's genuine contributions to the forums. Carry on as you were on that score. :-)

I agree. I don't want Zero to feel as if he's been alienated, but I am glad this has come out. He may never admit it, but it's out there in the public domain now so I'm going to try and forget this whole sorry episode. I bear him no ill-will, although I'm upset at having my emotions toyed with. I hope if he does have a problem mentally that he can find help and eradicate his demons. He has to want that help though and if any good can come of this thread maybe he will see how it has affected those of us here, and helps him realise he has a problem.

I have no idea what's going on at all. This thread certainly doesn't help :p Zeropolis I hope you don't stop posting here.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Long before this thread I once rode my bike miles* out of my way to give Zeropolis some free retro stuff.

After reading this strange and confusing thread, I'd still ride my bike out of my way to give him some free retro stuff.

Anyway, I can confirm that Zeropolis does exist, as I've met him. :D

    * not that many miles, 35 maybe
