Question to Deep Purple fans

edited August 2012 in Chit chat
There is no good karaoke versions of Deep Purple's Soldier of Fortune so i need to make my own. Audacity won't remove the vocals from the original song in a satisfary way so i need to find an instrumental version. Searching on YouTube mostly give some lame midirallys, But i found this:

I can dl it and get the audio from the clip but the soundquality is pretty bad so i was wondering does anybody know if Deep Purple ever released a studio version of the song and if on which record?

I guessed as much but it's still a lot better than the other midi-elevatormusic versions. I think i'll go with that version even tough soundquality on YouTube clips is quite poor.

It might be hard getting it synchronized with the lyrics tough. I have made a few karaoke tracks before by using Audacity to cut out the vocals from a track. Then used Karaoke Builder Studio to synchronize the lyrics to the music with the song still intact.

There are a few karaoke versions of this song on YouTube but they aren't very good.
