Buck Rogers released in Spain?

edited September 2012 in Infoseek database
In the mold of the last threads opened about spanish releases, what do you think about this case, Juan Pablo?

No evidences whatsoever of a spanish release so far... :)

There exist evidences, I keep photographs of it, and I even know of one Spanish colleague that owns this tape.

In this case, however, Erbe just imported the original UK release, put a sticker on its clam case, and added an instructions leaflet in Spanish. That's why there does not exist any inlay scan or TZX image.

Let me make you another question Juan ;)

When the inlay are the same in the english and spanish releases, its not necessary to do a scan of the spanish one for preservation? (Since I understood so from that situation with the Buck Rogers spanish inlay)
I found a game, that does have its inlay preserved and apparently is the same as the english one:

    ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/games-inlays/Rereleases/a/Astroclone%28ErbeSoftwareS.A.%29.jpg

    Sorry for keeping bothering :D

Not really, or at least, I don't think so - there's no need to do things twice. However, it's still important to know when they are the same, so an e-mail is always welcome.

In fact, it's impossible to know for certain if they are the same, since the spine and back of the inlay weren't scanned. Let's hope someone replaces this with a full scan sooner or later.

Hi Juan Pablo! I think Android One (Vortex) is probably a case of similar inlays:

What do you think? The english one doesn't have spine nor back side, but it seems the same inlay, anyway. The spanish one is complete and there is no text in spanish.

And the Spanish instructions available in SPA2 are in english.

Yep, it looks like it's the same inlay [1]. Anyway, it's up to Martijn to decide if he'd like to keep it or not. Just meant that I don't think it's necessary to do things twice, that's all. But once it's done, it's done. That's just my opinion, of course!

[1] Out of curiosity, in this case the tape was different. This is why this re-release is not marked as an "import" release at the SPA2 database. This only happens if both the tape and the inlay are intact w.r.t. the original UK release.
