Crystal Castles released in Spain?

edited September 2012 in Infoseek database
Although there is a review from Microhobby, there are other games which were reviewed by MH and were never released in Spain...so after all these years, no trace of cassettes, instructions, inlays...and its a release from Erbe, so we know they are not that rare :)

And this is offtopic, but Im going to take advantage of these new threads to show you something, its a strange release from Erbe of Thanatos :o
Had you seen it before? Could that be the normal release indexed in SPA2 as the normal Erbe release which is not preserved yet?

That's just missing the TZX file, it appears as "Thanatos - Estuche mediano (Erbe)" in SPA2, including the cover and instructions.

This is a pretty similar case to Highlander (see http://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/showthread.php?p=654390&posted=1#post654373).

I won't extend too much here for the lack of time - take this as a brief summary. Anyway, I'm not the best person to talk about this issue in particular - Leovanifer could speak more properly about these cases, as he's a real expert in this. There exists a handful of games which are on the borderline between the change from clam case releases (scarcer and more expensive) to jewel case releases (cheaper and widely spread). Most of these rare 'borderline' titles were advertised together, and some of them are slowly emerging (which means that very few units hit the stores), but it's uncertain if all of them which were advertised together were effectively released. Some of these rare Erbe releases which have emerged include Acro Jet or Mailstrom, to name a few. These DO exist.

We can't say the same thing for Crystal Castles or Highlander (yet?), but you shouldn't be too surprised if someday they appear. Note that Crystal Castles was both reviewed by MicroHobby (issue 107) and MicroMania (issue 19) [although the same can be said for Konami's Golf, with the difference that it was never officially advertised by Erbe, afaik]

Nope, this is the clam case version which is already preserved (labelled as "medium case" in SPA2).
