But is it going to Derby via Repton, or via Repton 2?
Unfortunately not; coincidently, I used to live [and my mum still does] in the next village to Repton.
The blue Bus Service was sold to Derby corporation in the Early 1970's and what was left of the in-service running buses were destroyed in a fire in 1976.
Edit:- Bizarely with a bit of searching, This bus has now been sold to somene in Lituania :-
Well, he has found it, as he watched it today, didn't ask him if it was a full episode or not.
It was about a turnstile on a bus, a prototype that didn't take off, trying to create a conducterless bus, grandad specifically recorded it, as they worked for the bus company.
look at this slide show, about 35 seconds in SMS? Expermintal
Tomorrows World did a feature on this, and grandad set his cine camera up and filmed it from the telly

I know some people who specialise in transferring old cine film - I'll see if I can arrange anything.
Do you think your granddad or dad were mad enough to film TV material from the screen?
Wonder if any of those vehicles are still being maintained and getting rolled out for shows these days! :D
What strikes me is how tidy the streets look. :)
Don't think he has any lost t.v shows though. As far as I know he never recorded live telly. Slim chance of some lost radio maybe.
GNU750 - at Time 1:22 is still kicking about :-
thats about the only Reg I can make out.
Hehe...Good to know it's still going! :)

I just spoke to my dad on the phone, and....
yes they did film some television, there is an episode of Tomorrows World from the 60s, and some adverts from ITV :)
You need to find these, and have a look, there is very few pre 1970's Tomorrow's world programmes surviving.

Some people will be creaming themselves looking these.
Did you know there were people interested in old things, and they even have forums about them ?:D:D:D:D
You might be interested in this where you use a flatbed scanner to scan the film frame by frame http://vimeo.com/22015773
This is something I want to try myself but I haven't got around to it yet.
I used a similar lo-tech transfer of super 8mm and got a lot of flicker as can be seen in my bands video
so I want to scan it to get a better transfer.
