Retroma??a game programming contest (with prizes!)

edited October 2012 in Games
As is usual, Retroma??a held during the University of Zaragoza's Week of Engineering and Architecture features a retro-game programming contest...

You don't have to actually be in Zaragoza to take part, there's a competition category for those who can't be there. This year's theme is:

* To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Speccy, make a remake of a classic Spectrum game for any other platform.

The platform can be retro, it can be modern - it doesn't matter.

Rules and prizes are here: http://www.retroaccion.org/concurso-de-programacion-de-un-videojuego-de-zx-spectrum - see the link to the English rules PDF if you're not a Spanish speaker. Google Translate should sort out the rest.

Participant games must not be published in any media before the contest finishes and the winners are announced publicly on the RetroMa??a
2012 website. Not fulfilling this will be reason for an immediate disqualifying.

That's a shame, I was going to enter the half a dozen or so Speccy game's I've ported across to the BBC platform. Although they've been released over the past 18 months or so...

Why wrong way around? Better this:
make a remake of a classic game from any other platform for Spectrum.
