It was easy to do but it took ages. Anyway, I'm not a professional.

Ok now go and program that on a real ZX Spectrum. :)

It's like the kind of animated video captions I used to make on my Atari ST for my dad's holiday moves when he first got a video Camera in 1991.

I even remember the name of the program, it was called Canvas and came on a cover disk for ST Format.

I did it on Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 7 and if you can get hold of it (its easy to get hold of), you might be able to do something similar.
Don't know how many screens of coding it would take but it'd take well over ten in basic.

I probably could do most of that in Spectrum basic. When I was a kid of about 10 or 11 that's how I began with this kind of thing. I remember making a series of Animations to tell stories about ET (my favourite soft toy). I distinctly remember how it went. ET flew over the houses in his space ship, hit a tree went oww bugger bloody hell (yes they were always full of spelling mistakes much like my posts now), then fell out. I then came out the house collected him and took him inside to the kitchen. I never usually finished off the story, got to about 10 screens or so then gave up. I've never been able to find the tape that has it on, I must have recorded over it at some point.
