Went to Telford. Utter crap, although I did see a 50" plasma TV for less than 400 notes. Nothing in the Next sale, undoubtedly picked clean by the vultures at 4.00am. And, surprise surprise eBuyer have a sale on but their web server has crashed.

    Waste of two hours really...

Even I would find it hard going to buy 3 Ferraris a minute.
  • I've never understood why people rush to the shops on Boxing Day. Has nobody got anything better to do? I know I have. Although I hate shopping at the best of times.

I stayed away from the sales because theres nothing i need.
No point in buying things i don't want or need.
All i need is more booze but i don't think that'll be in the sales:smile:

I've never understood why people rush to the shops on Boxing Day.

some people will plan all year to get something *OR* they realise they over did it at Christmas and say sod it and won't be able to buy stuff later in the year.

or people get money as a gift , as they don't know what they want present wise.

I use audio software, I wait till it's on either easter / xmas sales to buy it most of the time.

I waited a few months to buy a new TV, same one I got ?140 cheaper from waiting.

i did the christmas meal again this year, so boxing day is a nice day of rest for me.

managed to jam pack the fridge full of left overs. and spent all day watching the dvds we got. in fact i enjoyed today better than yesterday. :p
